What we collect
Hantavirus Wikiis a static reference site — there are no user accounts, and we don't track you across pages. If you email us at corrections@hantavirus.wiki to report a correction, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message.
Hosting and server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability purposes. We don't combine these logs with any other data to build a profile of individual visitors.
Cookies, ads, and tracking
We don't run our own analytics or tracking scripts. This site displays ads served by Google AdSense, including Google's automatically placed (“Auto”) ads, in a variety of positions and formats — in-article, in-feed, sidebar, and a dismissible banner on phones and tablets. Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device to serve and measure these ads, including personalized ads based on your browsing activity. Google explains what data it collects and how in its How Google uses information from sites that use its services page, and you can view or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. We don't control what Google or its partners do with this data.
